57% of students responded favorably when asked questions of student engagement on the spring 2024 Student Climate Survey through Panorama.

Theory of Action

If WCS designs a professional development plan that includes direct instruction on engagement strategies to be used across all content areas, then 70% of students will respond favorably to the Panorama survey in the area of engagement.

Prioritized SU Goal

By June 2025, 70% of our students will respond favorably in the area of Engagement as measured by Panorama climate surveys.

If WCS builds comprehension through intentional lesson structure, language, and reflective practices, then 100% of our students will show growth in reading proficiency.

Prioritized SU Goal

By June 2025, 100% of students will show growth in reading comprehension as evidenced by DIBELS and MAP, and there will be a 20% increase in overall achievement.

If WCS commits to a set of agreements to provide continued uninterrupted instructional blocks consisting of direct instruction as well as whole group and small group practice, then 100% of students will show growth in math proficiency as shown through MAP.

By June 2025, 100% of students will show growth in Math as evidenced by USNS and MAP, and there will be a 20% increase in overall achievement.
